Too much cylinder oil may cause carbon formation and waste cylinder oil, too little will cause poor lubrication. The alkalinity of cylinder oil of ship engine parts should be determined according to the condition of fuel oil. The alkalinity should meet the requirements to avoid low temperature corrosion of cylinder piston ring and prolong the service life of the ring.
 
Appropriate coolant temperature should make the average working temperature of a ring below 200°C, and can make the ship engine accessories cylinder oil evenly distributed in the cylinder wall, reduce friction and wear, prevent carbon formation and low temperature corrosion, prevent ring sticking and ring breaking.
 
Check and repair the cylinder regularly, make maintenance records of Hechai accessories, and analyze the wear amount and wear speed of the ring through the parameters of each cylinder. In particular, enough attention should be paid to the wear speed and shape of the cylinder, ring and ring groove. The cause of excessive wear speed must be found out and solved in time.
